Relentless Pursuit Stateside

Hey friends, family, and other readers,

Great news to share! I accepted a position with "I Have A Dream" Foundation in Boulder, CO. Beginning in August 2014, I will be tutoring/mentoring/supervising 8th-12th graders each day for their after school college prep program.

That's even my new boss in the background!

Wish me luck! Thank you for your continued prayers and support in my last 100 days in the beautiful yet frequently frustrating country of Indonesia.

As the time gets closer, I get more and more excited to come home. However, the reality that I will leave behind Faik, Lilik, Nurul and other close friends is quickly setting in.

Faik (back) and Lilik, my two closest friends in Indonesia.

Fortunately, Faik and Lilik have already prepped a Whatsapp account to continue to sms for free when I'm in the US!

In the next 2 weeks, please keep my friends and I in your prayers as we prepare for a 3 day girls' leadership camp. IGLOW is an international endeavor by PCVs to prepare our girls for the future. Many of you donated last year, but this year we are trying to find all local funding. The camp is in 16 days and so far we have about 1/10 of the funding we need, yikes!
